I was wondering if anyone had any info about the Frick Park Apartments. I know that they are run by Brandywine (the same rental agency that I have now.) Is it considered Wilkinsburg, Edgewood, Regent Square or Park Place? Is this a good area? I don't want to ask Braandywine thier opinion, I'd rather ask someone who knows a bit more about the area and get an unbiased opinion.

Is it called Frick Park Apartments or Frick Park Gardens? I've Googled Frick Park Apartments and have come up with nothing specific, but I think I've seen a complex called Frick Park Gardens or something to that effect when I've been out jogging in Wilkinsburg.

On Rebecca Avenue in Wilkinsburg between Peebles St. and Trenton Ave. was a place that used to be called Frick Park Village. It's about a block from Forbes.

That's what I thought. I know exactly where they are. As the link states that you posted, it is Wilkinsburg. You can take this for what it's worth, but I kind of laughed when I saw them the first time while out jogging. I laughed because they are a distance from Frick Park (not that long of a distance, but far away from it that it made me laugh they would use the name Frick Park). Second, they aren't in a crime ridden neighborhood by any means, but it definitely isn't the most beautiful area either. We looked at apartments near there called Trenton Square, and we were told of a lot of break ins in that area, so something to beware of.

I think most locals call that Frick Park Village. It is in Wilkinsburg, not in Regent Square, and not really in Park Place either. It is a little odd-feeling because it isn't part of the normal street grid in the area and was built during a later era.

It isn't the worst area, but it is starting to get into the areas where some people have reported crime problems. I wouldn't necessarily advise against it, but you shouldn't be paying Regent Square or even Park Place prices to live there.

That's what I thought. I had a gut feeling to not ask Brandywine about that place. I'm better off just going with someone else.

Thanks
