My bigger question is how did this guy that is facing felony charges win the election. Dude might do 5 years in jail how is he going to serve?

Did his opponents not bring up his felony charge from Nov? That he could do 5 years in jail.

COLUMBIA, S.C. (AP) – South Carolina’s surprise Democratic nominee to challenge U.S. Sen. Jim DeMint is facing a pending felony charge.

Court records show 32-year-old Alvin Greene was arrested in November and charged with showing obscene Internet photos to a University of South Carolina student. The felony charge carries up to five years in prison.
Whoops!

So yeah my thing would be is how strange is it that citizen elect a person that is facing 5 years in prison. I understand innocent till proven guilty. I'd want to know hes innocent before he got my vote. Call me crazy

Another possible disaster, for the Democratic party. Innocent until proven guilty, but the way it sounds, something not adding up.
