Anyone here talk to census workers ? We had 4 come so far[ they make 28 bucks an hour , ,peanuts compared to the maids and janitors who work for the gov though ] .

Two of them told us some of our neighbors refused to answer and one came to door with a gun . One worker said her own parents wouldn't fill out the forms .

We filled them out , may as well .

Is it illegal to answer your door with a firearm in hand? I live in Wisconsin and that is not illegal.

It may not be illegal but it's rude when these people are just trying to do their jobs. You have a problem, deal with Washington. Especially since people complain so much about outlandish spending. If everyone in the country filled it out, it'd save the government billions of dollars.

Look these people are only trying to do their job. To threaten anyone's life for performing the task their being paid to do accomplish what? Take it up with the Government. What if it was your family member who was unemployed and took a job as a census working to make an income? Be honest, would you then say, oh well?

and you'd can be arrested for doing so.

Answering the Census is in the Constitution and therefore LAW. You are violating the law by threatening a census worker as well as not filling out the census

How do you know? Do you control every aspect of your immediate family? You know that saying, Never say Never.

so sorry, answering the door with a firearm on you is not a crime, and therefore not a threat. not answering the questions posed by the census worker entails a $100 fine, lying to a census worker about their questions entails a $500 fine.
