Context, friend. Of course I want that cartel gone -- lickety-split. That said -- my context was couched with regard to illegals who come here looking for work, not drug cartels. Apples and oranges. Sure, the cartel would qualify as a small scale invasion, but I find the use of "invasion" to refer to regular mexicans who cross the border to be hyperbolic and that it has a purpose -- the purpose of painting them in the worst possible light in order to justify direct military force against them.
Americans are brainwashed to believe terrorist are a bigger threat to the country then Mexican gang bangers, and many are gullible enough to buy into. I'm much more likely to be mugged and killed by a Mexican then get blown up by an Al Qeida terrorist.

Has anyone considered this is a sneaky way for Mexico to take back land that was taken from them. No military, just an Armyu of people seeking to occupy... things that make you go hmmmm.
