If you have an Android device, you will soon be able track your carbon footprint and buy carbon offsets right from your phone!

So how 'bout it? How many of you are going to jump at this opportunity to make the world a "greener" place by actually paying for your "excessive" fossil fuel consumption?

They won't dare do that. You watch how they try to wiggle out of paying for anything. I wouldn't doubt that the Obama administration will devise a way to exempt Democrat voters from seeing energy price increases. At least we will devise some way for the government to subsudize it for the minorities.

Wouldn't want an Android, even if it were free.

No android for me, I always get used phones from friends or family members when they get the 'newest and greatest' new phone.

Plus, it's greener that way

So that's an emphatic "No!" to my question, PA and JJ?

Alright - forget about the specific platform. If there was a way for you to track your "carbon footprint" using whatever device you already carry around, and you could buy offsets every day, right from that device, would you?

If I could do it from my WebOS phone, sure. Seems like a neat metric to track.
