Like a 200 pound man is THAT THREATENED by a young woman? Please.
Do you know the law regarding assault?
Lordy there are some real winners(and whiners) in this thread.
Two thug criminals don't do what they are ordered to and assault a cop...pretty much all that is needed unless you lack commonsense or are a racebaiter.

Yeah because jaywalking makes you a thug. I do it like every day, call the national guard!

This is not 1952 Mr South Cakalacky!
Even police officers need to follow training and procedure in order to not escalate a situation and endanger the lives of others near situation.
Or are you just so happy to see a Black person getting punched that all commonsense flys out the window?

No...assaulting another person does...
Well...and this:

Both females arrested by Walsh have criminal records.
The 17-year-old was charged in November with second-degree robbery. According to prosecutors, she punched a boy in the face while she and a group of youths were on their way to a rave in South Seattle last Aug. 28. One 15-year-old boy told police that he was punched in the face, and his cellphone and $20 were stolen. A 14-year-old boy told police that he was punched in the head and his hat was stolen.
The older victim identified the teen as the person who struck in him in the face, charging papers said.
Authorities say the case was dismissed when the victims refused to testify.
In April 2008, the 17-year-old was charged with third-degree theft after she allegedly stole a minivan in Tukwila, prosecutors said. Kent police said the girl used a screwdriver to break the ignition and start the vehicle.
The charge was later amended to theft of a motor vehicle. The girl was given a deferred disposition because it was a first-time offense, said Ian Goodhew, deputy chief of staff for Prosecutor Dan Satterberg.
The girl made a brief appearance Tuesday afternoon in King County Juvenile Court, where a judge found probable cause for her arrest for allegedly assaulting the officer, but released her to the foster home where she lives.
The 19-year-old was charged in February 2009 with third-degree assault after she allegedly cursed at a King County sheriff's deputy and knocked the deputy over.
According to charging documents, on Feb. 3, 2009, deputies were called to the Ruth Dykeman Children's Center, a Burien center for troubled girls, for a report that she was being abusive toward staff. When the teen was confronted by Deputy Amy Zarelli she pushed the female deputy, causing her to fall, charging papers said. The teen was arrested.
The teen was given a deferred disposition because it was a first-time offense, Goodhew said.
Seems like a spoiled girl that thinks she is better than anyone else and that the rules don't apply to her... she comes to find out resisting arrest wasn't the smartest thing she did... mouthing off even though she was in the wrong to begin with makes me unsympathetic to her... you can't de-escalate a situation when the person wants to escalate it... she has every intention of resisting arrest and being disrespectful... you can't win with some of you people... you don't the officer to taser her and don't want him to physically restrain her either... what do you want him to do? Subliminal messages?
Amen! People just take everything for granted. They don't see cops as human beings. It's easy to bash them, that way. Unfortunately, they have no idea what cops put up with, day in and day out!
Thanks....I agree, people do take our police for granted

Sigh...you lose again...

A 30 year veteran of law enforcement training told KOMO News Tuesday that an officer who punched a teenage girl in the face while struggling to get her and another teen under control in South Seattle was "well within the scope of appropriate responses to the situation." Robert Bragg, the program manager for Fitness and Force Training, said a blow to the face is also within the scope of their training and would be considered a "reasonable response".
Black thugs of either gender are a bigger menace...
I got a screen shot of that just in case I ever get an infraction for calling you a racist,
thanks for admitting it.
