The oil well being 40 miles out, forced the drilling to become so deep that any damage is difficult to repair. Who forced drilling out so far that the damage cant be fixed easily?

LIBERAL ENVIRONMENTALISTS....

Wrong. There are literally dozens of oil rigs actively drilling closer to shore. BP is there because they thought they could make a profit. Period.

You dont think they would have rather drilled for THE SAME oil closer to home where the costs were lower and profits are higher?

See all the grey dots? Those are oil wells. Hippie tree huggers had nothing to do with BP drilling where they did.

The MMS has been handing out drilling permits like candy. They wouldn't have had any problem drilling closer in if that's where the oil was.

For the most part, voters and politicians in the Gulf region.

For example, Jeb Bush's offshore drilling proposal from 2008 would have banned all drilling from within 100 miles of Florida's shores.

The whole "environmentalists caused the oil spill" talking point is extremely easy to debunk.

Consider yourself pwned.
