How soon people forget. When he took office the entire ecomony of the US was on the brink of a depression. Banks had stopped lending even to each other; the very fabric of the system was falling apart. People forget because, as distasteful as it was, the Administration took unpopular steps to prevent the collapse of the banking and automobile industries.
I think that we'll still be calling him "Mr President" in 2012.

But let's face it......some here will call him that for the rest of their natural born lives and probably never acknowledge that he's actually gone whenever that day finally gets here.
Being that He is now..... and forever shall be....their Pride and Joy.

If things continue as they are, I think he will be remembered as an inexperienced academic and weak leader a la Jimmy Carter who pushed for anti-capitalist policies, huge debt, and huge government.
