I used to be very good at chess (HS chess team 25 years ago). Now, I mostly play against my computer - where I can "undo" my mistake.

Soapmaking

Gardening - both flowers and veggies. Also enjoy keeping my huge yard looking good all summer long.

Greatly enjoy finding new recipes for "putting up" my harvest in late summer. (Have two pressure canners and three dehydrators and they get well used every year.)

Genealogy

Crochet and knitting

Love rockhounding but there aren't any rocks in Nebraska. It's all dirt here.

Reading

Politics

Auctions - one of my favorite activities. Never know what is going to turn up out of someone's house, especially with some of these farm families that have lived in the same house for 50 years.

Very much into grandchildren but they are much more than "hobbies".
