It is the matter of health issues and reproduction.

And before someone goes off on how I am a baby killer and should be punished, I am AGAINST abortion after the first trimester unless the mother was at risk or the fetus has died/serious defects. This is the most fair compromise I can come to when it comes to abortion. I am against having an abortion after that point. The woman gets around 3 months (depends on when she discovers she is pregnant) to decide what to do especially if she was raped.
I am in agreement with you on how abortion rights should be applied only I carry it further that beginning in the 4th month, abortion for reasons of severe birth defects or genetic conditions are justifiable. (These defects are not usually apparent until about mid-way through.) I am totally opposed to abortion after 6 months unless there is a real threat to the mother's life. Late term abortions just because the mum has finally decided she doesn't want a baby, after all, is nothing more than infanticide. The large majority of abortions are performed because the woman doesn't want to have a baby--not because her health is endangered and as long as it is done early, I have no problem with it.

I am a strong supporter of states rights and feel that the federal government has greatly overstepped its boundaries over the past 75 years. I support the growing states' rights movement and hope to see the federal government taken down a few notches before I die.

Everyone needs to read the entire OP and the link so you know what the OP is about. Here is another link explaining what the problem with the POS EO that Obama signed and why John Boehner asked for an update about the implementation of the president’s Executive Order (EO)

"Attorneys and staff with leading pro-life groups have analyzed the order and say it will not truly prohibit abortion funding and promotion.

That question should make it clear that this is political grandstanding. When has any President's administration, EVER, sent instruction about how to comply with an Executive Order that hasn't even been issued yet. Why, NEVER, because that would be STUPID.

The law hasn't gone into effect. Hopefully, when it does, the President will issue his Executive Order.
It has but there is a problem with it, that is why John Boehner asked for an update.

The EO can easily be written and signed and applied to the bill which as passed and become effective when the bill does.

**edit: I see from the post above me..it WAS found.

Yes, but again, this thread is not about Obama signing an EO, it is the wording and the effectiveness of that EO that is at question.

Oh yeah the law has gone into effect according to the two doctors and one hospital employee I talked with the other day. Yep, Medicare is now paying the smaller amounts ordered by that law.

That law is very sad in that some parts of it go into effect immediately, like taxes to support the system and others like collecting anything not till 2013 or 2014 whenever it is.

That EO was promised to get the votes and is already forgotten, and we all know that.

Quit your crying and whining. Get over it.
Yep, Obama won the election and it is time for us to get over that fact. Right?
