I didn't realize the lawsuits have [ALREADY] gone through the court system and there has [ALREADY] been a determination of which parties are at fault.
If your company digs a hole in the ocean floor and oil comes out, it's only your fault if you profit?
lol...whose hole is this?!!

On a serious note...I'm fairly certain they gave the CEO the test questions before he ever set foot in the room..in fact a few days prior...kinda hard to fail an open book test, wouldn't you say.

Actually there are numerous companies that have a stake in the liability for the oil spill, not just BP. I feel sure some will file bankruptcy. For example, Anadarko Petroleum has a 25% stake. Keep your eyes open for news...
Test questions? Congress only wanted to make BP look bad, which is very easy when they're in full control and BP's only reason to be there is to be in Congress' hot seat. The process is a joke.

It's old news. The breakdown and percentage of ownership have been available since the well exploded into fire.
lol...
Congress is in full control? Of BP's responses?
The process you consider a joke wasn't very funny when the Corporation's Chief Executive's apparent disassociation from operational chain of command and decision making gave no insight or comfort to millions affected in the Gulf.
Hey, did this Barton jerk (R) offer some constructive insight into W H O he thinks should pay??? If not BP...then the taxpayers?? Raise taxes???
Or was he being the USUAL obstructionist A hole Republican with
NO SOLUTION....?
I wonder if Barton is having second thoughts on his comments apologizing to BP in light of what transpired with Libya this week. He is up for reelection in November.
