How is this a fail and not a serious thread? The technology is out there and we have already created hybrid animals (Liger, Zebroid, Cama) and since us humans are technically animals as well, the possibility of a human-animal hybrid is in the realms of possibility (whether we like it or not). Removed from the great debates are you serious? This subject will one day be the greatest debate in human history for it will raise the question of what it means to be truly human.
Hybrids are sterile (Gee I wonder why?). That man-bear-pig has babies so it's an immediate fail.
I know they are telling you that these creature will be used for "spare parts", for transplants.
Need a transplant - they use your cells to create the hybrid creature..this is totally insane.
They should put as much thought and effort and money into learning exactly how to keep humans healthy. And how to heal them when something goes awry.
If someone cannot be healed it is better to just give it up.
Those transplant patients do not have the quality life that you are led to believe.
I knew one of them. His life was hell. He died 2 years later.
