There is no reason for it.

I know they are telling you that these creature will be used for "spare parts", for transplants.
Need a transplant - they use your cells to create the hybrid creature..this is totally insane.

They should put as much thought and effort and money into learning exactly how to keep humans healthy. And how to heal them when something goes awry.

If someone cannot be healed it is better to just give it up.
Those transplant patients do not have the quality life that you are led to believe.
I knew one of them. His life was hell. He died 2 years later.
