If this was taking place under Bush.. I dont think you'd be making up excuses to explain why one couldnt send out barges and then RADIO and ask them if they had life vests on board, and if not, send some out in another boat..

There was no spinning going on. Had you looked at the link you posted talking about respiration gear, I was the one who explained why its needed. Now you come along tell me that its needed.. NO **** Shirlock Holmes.. But now you are trying to compare the possibility of not having a life jacket or a fire extinguisher (which would be very important in case of the obvious), to why protective gear is needed.
Just validation that what I said was accurate.. Again, had a life jacket or fire extinguisher been missing, one could have been taken out to them on another boat, while respiratory gear not the same due to the fact they'd be sitting out there inhaling all of the garbage oil gives off..

I KNOW you were the one who wrote it like I SAID...I'm comparing why its important to ensure ANYONE working to clean up the oils spill are checked for safety and considering the Government apparently didn't know anything about the people operating the barge or the maker of the barge, it would be lax on their part NOT to ensure safety measures. So both are acceptable you just refuse to acknowledge it because YOU don't want to contradict the OP. I understand. Continue spinning.
