I called an Christian radio station just prior to the Iraqi war becuase I was pissed off by an presenter saying he supported the Iraqi war and believed that Saddam had WMD. I was against it and did not believe Saddam had WMD and I not sure if I was on air but I told him what he said was rubbish.

I have called and talked to some of the hosts on NPR. I've called a few times over the years and always been treated with courtesy. I only listen to NPR and a Christian music station.

Default Many Talk Show Hosts Are Like That

That's his usual style - if someone disagrees with him, he'll run them over and drop the call. The exception is if you sound like a complete idiot, in which case he'll let you make a fool of yourself for as long as he can. He's such a jerk.
Sean Hannity, Michael Savage, and Neal Boortz are all like that. Drives me crazy that they won't listen to anyone's opposing position. Or ridicule anyone who has a different position. I turn them off a lot--usually after about 5 minutes.

Is he as much of an idiot in person as he is on the radio? He is one of the biggest jerk off dolts I have ever heard. He always lies and spouts off about subjects he has ZERO knowledge of.
I called him after Hurricane Katrina when he was on the air ranting about how the police and government officials would not allow home owners back into the areas a day after the hurricane.
I am a utility worker. I work on those cell sites with the triangle towers you see all over. I simply asked him "sir, have you ever worked in a disaster area?" That was enough to enrage him and make him hang up.
I was simply going to tell him that I HAVE worked in them and when you are working in a disaster area, it is hard enough trying to dodge the debris, trees, wires, trash and all the other crap you have to deal with. The LAST thing I want is a bunch of civilians running around in the streets too. And any worker will tell you that. I was just going to tell him "they need to wait a few days, let us get things out of the roads, and then they can come home". But he knows I am too intelligent for him to argue with. That is why he is not a lawyer anymore. Unlike a talk show, you cannot cut off the opposing lawyer and rudely dismiss him. You have to stand and deliver in court.

That is what I like about Michael Medved. You can have an intelligent argument with him and he will let you state your point and be respectful to you whether you agree with him or not.
