Its Texas, if it were the other way around a black man killing a white woman, the black man would already be dead.
I am speaking after having done research on the judicial system of Texas and how it treats black people and of course actually having grown up there. This is the state where white men that drag to death a handicapped, elderly black person, sit comfortable in jail. Had it been the other way around, they would have been put to death assuming someone didn't get them before they got to jail.
Two of the three men convicted in the James Byrd dragging death were given the death penalty. The third defendant is eligible for parole in 2038.
Why do some on here, make everything thing about a racial issue. How bout saying, a fruitcake, nut case, sicko, wacko, kills a women. I don't care the race of these sickos wack jobs mental nut cases, i care that some are so dang cold hearted, to be able to do something like this. When will these nutcases stop doing things like this. We need to focus more on keeping the sickos where they belong in Jail, stop giving some low bail, and stop letting these guys out way to early, to get out and do the same killing over and over again. That is what pisses me off, judges who let these guys off way to easily. You know some on these forum, seem to never be able to leave race issues alone of any kind, all it does is fuel some, how can in 2010 we get over issues of race, when some are constantly bringing these issues up, and making everything black and white.
