My perspective on homosexuality and other gender identity disorders is that its abnormal and that it's a mental illness. If it was normal for two people of the same sex to have sexual intercourse, the result would be procreation. Because that's what sex is for, if it wasn't fun nobody would do it. That said, just because you CAN do something doesn't mean you SHOULD. A round peg will fit into a round hole, it doesn't mean that every hole is biologically healthy to penetrate.
I don't come from a religious perspective because I'm Agnostic.
What rights do gays have that you think are being "taken away"?

If that's the way you feel then I cant stop you from thinking that way, BUT, what I would care to know is are you the type of person that feels so strongly opposed against it that you would protest against gay rights?
I think government should get out of the marriage busness alltogether. Im a christian, i will get married in a church--thats what matters to me. If two gays wanna have some ceremony outside a church and afterwards proclaim they're "married", so be it.

Hey if you read his post he really did seem to be speaking from experience! And actually, most people do respect us, times are changing. And are you threatening to punch me in the face? How does that make you look any better? Not to mention anyone who would punch me for what I said is very very very very obviously hiding something.
EDIT: It should also be noted that Herman spends lots and lots and lots of time debating gay issues on City-Data. I can understand if you have an opinion about us one way or another. But to obsess about it like that leads me to question the motivations of the poster.

That's a great point! Many straight men enjoy anal (giving not receiving ). Does that make them gay? No... but it's the same concept as 2 gay men having sex.
