To hear libs make noises about that In God We Trust part? I'll bet it will happen.
I do not believe in God and think that the concept of "god" is for the delusional but that line is a part of history. I support it in the National Anthem because that is the original version of it.
I do NOT support it in the Pledge because it was altered for religious propaganda and brainwashing. The original pledge did NOT include "Under god" so why was it added?
But in the National Anthem, it has always been in there-in its original form-so therefore it is not wrong and offensive. I sing it all proudly. There is no religious propaganda there.
That's just something stupid for extremists to fight about... who really cares, and who really sings the whole thing and not just the first verse? Maybe just me, which is very likely b/c I am lazy and keep everything to a minimum. Even singing.
I don't sing it, period. Not only don't I like that song but I have a terrible singing voice. Have at it though
