I laugh at these types of accusations toward rich folks. In my many years, in the blue collar world, I have seen countless construction workers wrongfully claiming mileage, tools, omitting per diem, claiming “married an nine” and so many more tax evading techniques but this is to be “understandable” to most blue collar workers. It is without a doubt, TAX IVADING at its finest yet these are the same folks who yell tax the rich because they evade them. WTH???

More double standards that gets overlooked because of the Robin Hood theory.
Boy boy boy.

Someone mentioned $500 being the limit, so I guess I'm talking about 10,000 nickels. If it is in fact one of the most common ways to cheat then multiply that by what millions people?

Either way the initial claims that it's almost impossible to cheat on taxes unless you make over a million is obviously false.

Would you care to tell me what INCOME and what methodology of cheating on taxes... we aren't going after the real tax cheats thanks to the liberals but we go after those that CAN'T cheat on their taxes by raising their taxes?

Sad that we have this idea the income tax should even be permitted in a free society.
3% fed sales tax on everything but food and clothing .... INCOME and IRS GONE!!!
Everyone plays a low percent and govenrment functions no more loop holes, and cheating after all its in the stuff you buy.

Well, aside from the posts made in this thread mentioning charitable giving, underreported income, and business related expenses that you responded to.

Charitable giving is really a crapshoot... the AMT will kill it easily

Underreported income???... I think that is more myth than reality, if someone is worker 50 hours a week, they aren't going to have time for underreported income and their W-2 isn't going to be "mistyped" by the employer...

Work related expenses??... I have done that.. I rather have ZERO work related expenses because it comes directly out of my pocket... it doesn't help boost my income any nor does it lessen my taxes because I didn't really use it for myself to begin with... I rather have that money and pay the 30% taxes on it then have none of it...

So aside from everything, there really is no cheating of taxes by those that are demonize by the liberals then...
