Did these Muslims say they will destroy Western Democracies from within?
Some Christian groups say very offensive things. I remember attending a Christian church once where the minister said all blacks were condemned to hell, all Catholics were condemned to hell, Indians were condemned to hell...all in the same sermon. But I never assumed that his views represented ALL Christians.
Logically, then, is it logical to think that the extremists who want to destroy Western democracies represents the views of ALL Muslims?
Of course, I don't feel that way about all Muslims but until they say otherwise in public I consider them as supporters of that feeling. All the so-called moderate Muslims who don't speak up against the extreme views of the Islamists are supporters, to me. I guess they know what the inevitable is and they don't want to lose their heads when the extremists do take over.
Did you really hear a Christian minister talk like that. All those people at one sermon? I wonder how much longer he was in that position. Less than 24 hours if I had anything to do with it.
I have to say that when a man says he is Muslim-American he is displaying pure bigotry since we usually don't use religious designations concerning our Americanism. It is past time to stop all this PC crap about Muslims and start forcing them to be like the rest of us.
Is me calling myself a Christian-American any worse than what he said. He used religion to define what he is. I say that is bigoted since they intend to force us to be either Muslims living in dhimmitude or dead. If he is not one of those Muslims he needs to say so.
I think that calling Christians, like me, bigoted when they joke about their religion and citizenship is almost as bigoted as what you are accusing me of.
Try really hard and maybe you can understand me.
I know a few people who refer to themselves as Christian Americas to separate themselves from the 'Godless Atheists' that also happen to be citizens.
I've referred to myself as a German-American on occasion, and I've had my best friend refer to herself as a Jewish-American. Why is this such a big deal?
And you know that the Bible says to kill those who worship other gods as well, right?
As long as they are decent, upstanding Americans who have established a strong record of high qualification and service for their country, WHO CARES?
These people have that highly qualified track record of service and have likely done more for this country than a lot of the posters who criticize them on here.
Where in the Constitution does it say that only Christians qualify as real Americans who can publicly serve their country?
We will destroy you from within, are the words of the Islamists and other Muslims. We have so many good examples of this very thing taking place in Europe. Look at the standing of Sharia in the UK. Open your eyes and look around.

Who cares if you call yourself a Christian American?
The issue here isn't a label.
The issue here is that you hear Muslim and you automatically think enemy. There are millions of Muslims in this country that are loyal to this country. The attitude you are assuming and advocating is no different from the attitude that caused Americans to strip Japanese-Americans of their rights and to imprison them during World War II. It's unjust, and irrational.

You’ve proven me wrong, you don’t know what a bigot is and I’ve neither the time nor inclination to educate you.
I think it would be a violation of federal law if those persons were denied those apppointments on the basis of their religion. That law is one of the things that makes our country better than theirs.
Why do you think they are DEVOUT Muslims? Are some Muslims more devout than others? How do you know that these guys are devout? How would you describe a devout Christian?
There would be no violation at all. The key word here is APPOINTED positions. They can appoint whoever they want, these people don't "apply" for the positions, so if your not appointed, you wouldn't even know about the position being open and have no case.

You were doing very good in the beginning and then you strayed to German-American which is nothing like using religion involving American. Your best friend used religion when she said Jewish-American, though.

I have also been in Christian Churches that professed the same views...and they're still around and bigger than ever. People like feeling above others, so they all clap their hands and are glad THEY aren't the ones going to hell.
A quick google search will net you HUNDREDS of news articles of Muslims speaking out loudly against terrorism. I guess they're just not yelling loud enough for certain people to notice.
