You voted for him, you like him...fine...don't argue with me over fact b/c you back him...it's a matter of opinion and opinion only, and I'm entitled to mine, fact or not....I believe what I believe...and so do you, so we agree to disagree...don't aggrivate the situation with insults, or by telling me how to think and feel....it is fact to me....
If Gen McChrystal made these comments after being fired, it would come out as sour grapes, and no one would really listen. He and his staff, run by a colonel no less, knew exactly what they were doing when they said yes to the interview. This whole "he's naive" narrative from the WH is the only naive thing in this dust-up. You don't get to his position, SPECOPS or logistics, without being VERY politically savvy. His rules of engagement were being muddied up at the ground level because of all of the fear felt of making a misstep.
Patraeus feels the same way as McCrystal. No one respects these clowns running our country.
