It's not just a matter of defensive litigation.

The Arizona Atty General's Civil Rights Division page has a pretty good explanation of what a CRD does:
The Division’s major duty is to enforce state and federal statutes that prohibit discrimination in employment, voting, public accommodations, disability and housing by investigating and litigating civil rights complaints. In addition, the Division provides conflict resolution services and mediation programs statewide, including many court and agency programs.

The Division not only is responsive to complaints it receives, but actively addresses discriminatory activity by providing education awareness. It also conducts surveys and inquiries in efforts to eliminate discrimination and publishes reports to highlight civil rights issues in the State.

Arizona Attorney General Terry Goddard
Not a safe idea to get rid of this, human nature being what it is.

People should be allowed to hire who they want. They have election monitors to make sure people are not discriminated against just ask the Black Panthers back in 2008 outside the philly polling station. Education awareness yeah I am sure that's what they call it. It's more like brainwashing kids and teens into believing the liberal multicult garbage they call education. Again people should be allowed to rent or sell to whoever they want its none of the governments business. I could never own a business or be a landlord I would get sued for "discrimination".

So you see nothing wrong with an employer telling a prospective employee that he wont hire him/her because they are black/asian/white, etc?

I think i already know the answer.

Should a doctor be able to say "i refuse to treat blacks"?

Well, there you go.

I get the feeling that the rest of your reasons are along the same personal-preference lines, so I wont ask about any others on your list.

I attend tea parties and I can answer that. Everything is going to need to be cut and to have a more efficient gov one that isnt giving 9 million to inmates like recently happened.

Also pay freezes unless there is a balanced budget.
No more free liquor, meals etc
Nancy Pelosi would have been just fine in the 4k a mth office instead of the 18k a mth office.

Blah, blah, blah. What about civil rights for everyone? Why does one particular group get one? People say they want to be treated equally, when they really want to be treated better.

Do you really miss those days where blacks had to sit in the back of the bus or had to drink from a black only fountain?
