Think many so called Christians will be surprised how God feels about their behaviors when he does return.

There is an interesting dichotomy found in the Gospels. Jesus is vastly more kind to the “lost” than he is the established religiosity. However in all his encounters with those who are not of faith, he leaves them with a simple instruction “go and sin no more”.

No, I don't believe that at all. I expect it.

Again, I have no such belief. I expect to.

It is no different then having faith that there is a GOD.

It's vastly different.

Each of the three examples you've cited is based on experience, not belief.

Belief in a god is based on blind faith in some ancient myth that insists you go along with the story without any experience, or else you're threatened with all kinds of horrible consequences. That's what belief is; unquestioning acceptance w/o evidence based in some part on fear.

Not the same things. At all.

That also means that most people without college degrees believe the apocalypse is coming soon...scary stuff. This is why all that money we spend on military to have all those enlisted boys at our disposal should actually be spent on getting those same boys a real education so we can move past these primitive notions of religion like most of the rest of the Western world.
Primitive notions of religion? Like most of the rest of the Western world?

I think someone's terribly confused.

Uh, we have a form of government in this country that places the power to enact laws into an elected legislative body, not man-on-the-street individuals.....unless you mean Obama and his power to write Executive Orders and his status as a Christian is questionable.

That's fine and everything but I'm talking about the people who cheat on their spouses, remarry in the church, work on Sundays, have sexual relations outside of marriage, and many other things that are not acceptable in the bible. Yet, they will be the first ones to condemn homosexuality.....something that is open to interpretation in the bible anyhow. If you are going to walk the walk......walk the walk all the way.....don't pick and chose.

What decade did you go to elementary school in? I did it in the 1940s when the progressives hadn't taken over education so must not know much. Hell, I got my MS in 1957 and surely all those old conservative professors didn't know nearly as much as those of today.

Go ahead with your uneducated crap because you have a severe need to feel superior that I don't understand at all.

That's not too bad. I mean, 49% of people have less-than-average intelligence.
