from the crazed, insane Left , no doubt. Again, how many examples do we have now of violent tendencies from the Left? They are piling up, probably due to the pressure on obama.

Judge Faces Death Threats After BP Gulf Oil Drilling Moratorium Ruling (http://www.bayoubuzz.com/buzz/latest-buzz/10729-gulf-oil-moratorium-judge-threatened - broken link)

Quote:
In fact, the Judge is now receiving death threats in the aftermath of his bold ruling.

Right after he issued the ruling, Feldman came under attack as a tool of the oil industry.
And who was doing the attacking? The Left of course.

Quote:
Feldman owned those stocks in 2008; however, he sold those shares long before issuing his ruling this week.
Meanwhile, obama stands to make MILLIONS from the oil spill.

Geez, I though the left were the ones who were intelligent, open minded and all that and it was the Tea Party folks who were supposed to be nutts.

I guess I misunderstood.

Stand your ground, judge!

The left does get rather violent when things aren't going their way.

Well, the Left and media didn't seem to know this little fact when they immediately started attacking the judge after the ruling for once owning the stocks.

Lawmakers faced lots of death threats after the health care bill was passed - based on your logic, would we therefore conclude that there are innate violent tendencies from the Right??

Look, we can debate the merits or lack thereof of the proposed moratorium, but your credibility would be greatly enhanced if you could drop some of your extreme partisan act and display at least some minor level of objectivity on something.

If you were honest, you would admit that there are always a handful of idiots within any political group who will do irrational things like send death threats to a judge and that it's unjust to try to brand the entire party by the actions of the very few. So let's not start trying to brand the entire Left as violence prone from this one example, ok? It doesn't make any more sense than when people try to say that the entire Right is violent or racist, when it's obviously not.

Judicial rules for conflict of interest are pretty loose and usually it's up to the judge to decide if he or she will have a conflict. Sometimes it's pretty clear cut, a relative involved say, other times not so much. Such as having a small stock holding in a company. Either side in a suit can ask for the judge to recuse if a conflict is suspected.
