Emergency Clock Semitism Charles Sanders
AMSTERDAM- Jewish interest groups , professors and rabbis read the alarm about the rapidly growing anti-Semitism in our country and call the soothing words of Minister Ernst Hirsch Ballin ( Justice) during an emergency debate on the issue " nonsense " .

In the House of Hirsch Ballin said that more Jews return must do if they are victims of anti-Semitism being. He finds it difficult to establish a trend . Figures would not show that there is growth . The Center for Information and Documentation Israel ( CIDI ) called on the minister 's explanation beneath contempt . " He relies on the Anti-Discrimination Office please note that Amsterdam has noted that cases of true anti-Semitism have risen most of all types of discrimination. "

CIDI recent figures show a worrying increase in serious incidents. Almost always the instigators young Moroccans . The number of reported incidents increased last year by 55 percent to 167 cases .

In a shocking report in this newspaper telling victims how they are harassed by Moroccan street gear and threatened. " Large parts of the city are no longer accessible to us , it's wait until the first casualties , "said Professor Herman Stein Loon .

Did you experience anti-Semitism ?

Noodklok over antisemitisme - Binnenland - Telegraaf.nl [24 uur actueel, ook mobiel] [binnenland]

I experienced Anti-Semitism in The Netherlands as well. As a child i was called names for being Jewish...customers would come up to me and ask where I was born and when I named the city where I was born they kept asking and asking and in the end they would say "why don't you just say you are from Israel?"...which I never even had been...Perhaps not directly Anti-Semitism but to ask a teenager at work these questions is rude, showing that only one answer was what they wanted to get and they would never ask a Catholic person or Muslim person the same questions...this didn't happen just once!

Most of my life in The Netherlands I didn't disclose that I was Jewish and even had it removed from the public records at city hall since they kept a person's religion in there.

Wearing a neckless or any other sign of being Jewish is something you rather not do over there or the chance of being spit upon or worse...

Coming over here and expressing who you are is so great...hopefully that will stay, just as any other religion can be expressed over here

Why would customers come up to someone working in a shop and ask where the employee was born? Do you have a 'Jew' tattoo on your forehead?
Frankly, I don't believe your story. Especially in the Netherlands, which is a very open-minded and tolerant society. Probably this is one of those many threads meant to make people take sides with Jews (as opposed to nobody or Muslims) and ignore Israeli crimes. And everyone who doesn't agree with that will be called anti-Semite

Trust in God, and all things are possible. Of course there is growing anti-Semitism; there is growing antagonism in all the world, throughout history. I believe if you read your scriptures, you will find that the world is evil, and you will find peace only in God.

Turn from the world's concerns, and turn to God. Follow your scriptures. Be at peace. With God, all things are possible.

That is what non Jewish people always say....if you w3ould have lived there as a Jewish person you would talk different...

Do you know how many jokes about Jewish people I had to listen to when I was in elementary school...and they weren't the nicest, but you know kids are kids and have no clue what they are saying they just tell them as they hear them at home...

I would react the same as you, if I hadn't been the one with the experience and so has my family...living in a City with over 100,000 people and only 2 Jewish families....it is different when you live in Amsterdam, etc.. where more Jewish people live, although most jewish people live now with fear due to the Anti-Semitism that comes from a different group as during WWll...

I am reminded by the recent article in USA today and was even a thread here at some point.

Arab youths attack Jewish dance group in Germany
Arab youths attack Jewish dance group in Germany - USATODAY.com

Quote:
The Association of Jewish University Students in Germany said Thursday the number of anti-Semitic slurs and death threats against Jews in Germany had increased in recent weeks due to the May 31 Israeli commando raid on a Gaza aid flotilla that left nine activists dead.

Do we not see what is being implied here?

The problem is that Jews in Europe have to suffer for Israel's deeds unless they clearly distance themselves from Israel, just like the Muslims in Europe have to suffer for Muslim terrorist attacks anywhere on the world basically.

Sorry..what a ridiculous comparing!

You compare homocide bombers...9/11 terrorist with the people in Israel who get rockets on their houses from Hamas, and are defending them self?

And you are stating that is the reason why me and others have experienced Anti-Semitism for decades?

I am not in the mood for yet another boring and useless discussion on Israel, I have written my opinion on that mess several times already in various threads...

I don't even want to use the word anti-Semitism anymore, I prefer to say anti-Judaism as the vast majority of Semites are not Jews anyway.

The Israeli's practice hatred and get it back.
Same thing happens in the opinion of the world against the US.
Unfortunately, the innocent usually get hurt.
