Ever see the damage that mines do to people?
My suggestion would be to take a trip to Cambodia where their country is a minefield (with US, Russian and other mines) and see the devastation done to the population.
It's great fun to see little kids without limbs or parts of their faces cut from mine shrapnel.
Animals would also be killed.
as a matter of fact I have seen what a mine does to a person, up front and close. if illegal criminals dont want to get themselves blown up, then dont come across illegally.
as far as animals being killed, too bad so sad.
if the goverment is not willing to protect the border. then a viable solution has to be made, and I dont see either the republicans nor the democrats protecting our borders anytime soon.

who cares, I sure as hell dont. maybe this would be good enough for you then. put into effect the same laws concerning illegals inside our border that mexico and other countries have for their illegals.
so to all the mexican illegals, no public aid, no welfare no nothing at all, including they have to speak and read our language, plus no mexican holidays inside the borders of the USA.
I still prefer the minefields tho, alot more simplified and not as much cost to taxpayers.
Rather than spend more money we don't have, all we have to do is deny ALL government hand-outs to illegals, and send them home when they show up in the emergency room or at school or anywhere else. You're just got to take the "bait" away; human beings will always be able to outwit physical barriers.
