So what if he's a muslim, stop being rasict, in today's world things don't work around which religion you belong to, but by trying to do whats best for your country.
If he is a muslim (which I suspect he is), it is important for several reaons-
1. He put on a masquerade of being a Christian for twenty years simply for political expediency. This is very disturbing. How deep is one's committment that he would "change" religions like a pair of clothes? Further, how calculating and decietful is that?
I would dare trust a man who has done what he has done.
2. Muslims have this terrible penchant for violence and a conviction to convert or kill non Muslims. I would think that sentiment would be somewhat contrary to the laws of the United States and would make such a man incapable of effectively leading a modern nation.
3. A little issue of separation of church and state. Our Christian leaders appeared to understand this issue. A muslim, such as Obama, does not and has cozied up to fellow muslims at the expense of the nation.
Although the President has stated he is a Christian, and I believe him, I will ask only one question and then I'm done with this thread.
Does. It. Matter?
Yes. See above. The tenets of Islam are not consistent with a democratic republic. In fact, they are almost diametrically opposed. Did you ever wonder why no Islamic nation is considered to be a beacon of civil liberty, individual rights, tolerance, and a leader in science? It is no coincidence.

Some Muslims sacrifice their lives as suicide bombers, and are able to kill hundreds, or thousands, of infidels.
Then along comes a smarter Muslim who has the talent and patients to put on a great act, and climb his way through the ranks to take on a leadership role, putting himself in position to destroy the entire nation without sacrificing his own life..
We have such a person in power now, and he still has fools who believe in him, making his corrupt cause even easier. The oil spill is frosting on the cake for him, he is using the spill and the immigration problem to hasten his destruction of our nation...
Wise up people, this man needs to go. The first step comes in November, and two years later we will banish him back to his rat hole in Chicago....

Islam is a religion, not a race. Why the reference to racism?

You seem to be confused between the Taliban and every single modern American-Muslim organization. In the same way, I could say that every Christian is apart of the Christian Identity movement.
