It is a simple fact he was explaining. Just like, if America was attacked by someone, would not thousands of those people die(if not more?) Think about it.....We were attacked in WWII, and we responded by killing thousands upon thousands of people, right? We were attacked by terrorists on 9/11/2001 and what did we do? We have killed many in Iraq and Afganistan since, and will continue to do so until we pull out our troops.

Sounds pretty fair to me.

Palestine broke that promise?

Just where is this mythical Palestine you speak of?

That about sum it up?

"ghoulishly fantasize about some genocidal act"?

Waging war against those who would attempt to destroy an entire race is a genocidal act?
I think you're having as much trouble grasping the irony as is Joe. I'll try it a different way.

Genocide commited by [insert name here] for the purpose [insert any cause here] = Bad

What's weird is that apparently some people, like Mr. McCain, think that they can somehow insert "Israel" in the "name" brackets and "fighting terrorism" in the "cause" bracket and that somehow the "genocide" part goes away. Yeah I know, it'd be funny if it wasn't so scary.

The terrorism has little to do with the Palestinian people, and more to do with radical political factors from the neighborers of Israel. The Palestinian people will lose no matter what outcome occurs. They will never have any status with Iran, Iraq, Jordan, Lebanon, Saudi Arabia, Egypt or Syria. If they ever have a country, it will be run by others.

Let them fend for themselves. The only country I care about is the United States. EVERYONE should be the same way.
I agree that the news media is obsessed with Israel.
But people are not machines and should NOT all be the same way. On the other hand, Americans including the USA Government should be first concerned with taking care of their own citizens and then worry about the rest of the world.

Like to see those quotes too?
Trinity UCC is the largest congregation in the United Church of Christ. The relationship is totally voluntary on Trinity's part. The UCC is 94%+ white. Trinity voluntarily contributes 100s of thousands of dollars every year to financial support the UCC.

Well in the modern history of my country Australia the citizens here dont really care about the religious idenitity of the policial canidades here. I guess an reason being is the founding fathers that first settled here were secular and that tradition contiuned with the present, but in your country the founding fathers of the first settlers were like religious fanatics (Puritans) and that tradition continued to the present. Yes there is an chrisitan right here but its not as obvious or as powerful as the same extent as the USA. Those that vote for conservative parties here usually are an blend an people and its not predomically religous people that vote for them.

The presidents such as Regan and Bush Jr got in largely becuase of of the christian right votes, yet there has never really been an canadiate that has become prime minister mostly due via the votes by the chrisitan right.

Hopefully we will rid ourselves of the Jew-hater-in-chief in a couple years. Once our unwavering support of Israel is made clear again, Muslim terrorists will realize they cannot take an inch today and another tomorrow. There is no negotiated peace they will accept. It is dangerous wishful thinking on our part to imagine they ever will.[/quote]

Especially when we emergency ship Israel satellite-guided bombs after they use up their supply on water purification plants, bridges, tv stations and occasional terrorist positions. My country needs to have the guts to say, NO! We gave you billions of dollars that required you to buy weapons from us, if you can't kill enough people with the bombs we sold you, TOO BAD! It is not America's problem.

Throughout the history of the world, the most abused, kicked-around race of people have been the Jews. Not just during the holocaust of WWII, but for thousands of years. They have truly been "The Chosen People" in a terrrible and tragic sense.

What the hell does this have to do with the price of tea in the West Bank being unfairly settled by Israelis?

Israeli always use the same "wwII" excuse to bomb their neighbours.

Why don't they bomb the Germans? The one who rightfully expelled those Jews invaders from Europe.

Israel wouldn't touch Europe because they know you can't mess with Europeans and history has already proven that the only place those Jews can migrate is to the U.S.

Jews are not welcomed in Europe, and they should stop killing the palestinians because it was not the palestinias fault that Jews were expelled from Europe.

Jews love wars and are too problematic. Simple.
