I grew up in a family of very thick skinned people who would probably take the term "smartass" as a compliment. What do you think the funniest part about the right wing's "outrage" over Biden calling a custard shop manager a "smartass"
-The fact the term is kindergarten talk compared some choice words the previous VP had for Mr. Leahy
-The fact the right has no problems dishing out lowbrow insults (see them refer to the president by his middle name, stepfather's name, refuse to capitalize his name or other grade school taunts like 0bama)
-The fact it was all said as a joke on both ends, and anyone who actually sat down for more than 30 seconds to watch the footage could tell

Wow, where do I begin?

1) Cheney isn't right wing. He loved deficit spending and was heavily in favor of TARP.
2) I would've ordered Biden, Cheney or even my "savior" Ron Paul out of my store if they said such a thing. Now that would've been good news!
3) It wasn't a joke, no matter how many times Biden tries to spin it

Well it is a pattern with Mr. Biden. Racist remarks, vulgar remarks etc. The man is an embarrassment to himself and the country.

I agree. The right will whine, complain and raise an absolute stink over anything.

Hey if you guys like racists that is your prerogative, the right happens to hold them in disdain.

Deny it all you like but here is the evidence.

Biden's description of Obama draws scrutiny - CNN.com

Biden Say What? - Hotline On Call (http://hotlineoncall.nationaljournal.com/archives/2006/07/biden_say_what.php - broken link)

The guy is a bigot but the left gives anyone with a D after their name a pass. Look at Byrd the guy was a member of the KKK and he is being lionized. The left is pathetic.
