"the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed."
There are only one type of people in America...Americans.
No, the Constitution covers non-Americans too. People means any people within US jurisdiction. In other words non-citizens can own firearms too. But there is nothing new about that, since that has always been possible.
FOR A WELL ARMED MILITIA...that's the point of the right, not so you and I can have a weapon for the sake of it.
And please explain, why you need or want to own a gun....protection? protection from what?
I disagree. The weapon is in the event you are called up by a peoples' militia. I'm not explaining why I'd own a gun any more than I would own any other "weapon of mass destruction" such as a sports car or a knife. Also the word militia must be interpreted as it was then, since the Constitution is not a living document. The word militia is meant to describe everyday citizens who may be called up to protect the country, for example in Arizona.
The point is that while you and I disagree about how the 2nd amendment is interpreted, we have judges that make it perfectly clear, just like they did today.

You don't know the law very well, and non-citizens, do not fall under the US Constitution's jurisdiction. The US Constitution, does not apply to other nations.

No, not to other nations, but it applies to everyone in US, citizen or not (unless spefically stated as in requirement for a president to be a natural born US citizen). This means that even a foreigner has right to fair trial, or to own a firearm.
^haha, well the next time your governor calls for the formation of the your state's miltia, you can have your gun.
So, because you can't answer my question as to the necessity of gun-ownership, then I'm going to assume you have no reason to actually own one.
I have been known to feed my family quite well with a firearm.
You need a fully automatic tactical, with night vision, to keep the hog population in check, if you want to grow a crop down here.

Under jurisdiction, has been well defined in the Constitution.
You don't need to try and rewrite it here.
