When will the citizenry that voted for change and put Obama in the White House stand up to the right wingers and their ilk to push forward the change they voted for?
You fools had the presidency, and super majorities in both houses of congress, what more do you think you needed??
I still support president Obama's policies even if they are too far to the right. I wanted a Government supported health care or insurance option. Instead I got a give away to the private sector insurance industry. I wanted us out of Iraq and Afghanistan within six months and we are still there. I wanted to see the restoration of the 1950's income tax structure and we still have a regressive system.
Even with these problems I still support President Obama because he is far, far better then the bumbling McCain or the fool Palin.

It's a nice thought but the 2-party system has a stranglehold on American politics and probably will for the foreseeable future. Until it changes, I'll just vote the lesser of 2 evils.

Most times it comes down to that, but a lesser evil then 0bama must exist in the Democratic Party, just as a better choice then McCain or Palin exist in the Republican Party.

Most of the honorable republicans left town, so currently there are only a few "D's" to pick from. Unless Bernie Sanders (S) and Ron Paul (L) form a outsiders party, the only game in town will be those picked by the D's & R's corporate masters.
Fortunately, liberals make up only about 20% of the population and the far Left element much less.
The moderates, Indies and conservative democrats are finally coming to their senses.
