In my opinion if humans are doing something unnatural, and many consider it unethical, and it isn't a social tradition in the country you are in, there is a good reason for government intervention.
Hm... I guess this could apply to derivatives trading and Wonder Bras as well.
I don't buy the argument that the sole purpose of marriage is reproduction, that canard was proposed by people with little grasp on their religion or reality.
What really bothers me is that people make this claim that being gay must be natural because there are gay animals. If this is the case I suppose that a rational conclusion is that if X is natural for humans because it is natural in animals, then behavior Y must be too.
This is how pedophiles justify their sick acts. It could be an argument for incest, patricide, cannibalism, and rape.
There are very few compelling arguments that being gay is natural,several that is unnatural. As a matter of fact the most trumped up pro-gay "facts" can be thoroughly debunked without much cerebration.

Your entire argument is based on being judgemental. Just because you think something is wrong doesn't make you right. Historically it hasn't worked for kings, Lenin, Stalin, Hitler, Bush... you get the picture.
Ah, so it's the gays' fault that the Montana and Texas GOP want to make homosexuality illegal, is it? Interesting take you've got, especially since their position says nothing about "public" acts. They want to make homosexuality illegal, pure and simple.

I'm facinated by folks who want to make things that arn't hurting anyone "illegal". Forget it being about gays, does that even sound right to begin with? Shouldn't laws actualy MEAN something?
One would think. But why would you ever expect logical laws coming from the republicans.
90% of the population should be okay with it. I'm sick of the population dictating who you should be in love with. They are consenting adults, now let it be.
