The Drudge Report highlighted Vice President Joe Biden's prediction that Democrats "will be hit with a GOP blitzkrieg" of attacks to falsely claim he was "compar[ing] Republicans to Nazis." But Republicans and conservative media have often made use of the word "blitzkrieg" in a political context, including in attacks on President Obama and Democrats.

Republicans, conservative media have regularly used "blitzkrieg," including in attacks on Obama, progressives

Fox's Cameron: Democratic primary candidates unleashed "a blitzkrieg on the air." On the August 7, 2006, edition of Fox News' Hannity & Colmes, Carl Cameron, now Fox's chief political correspondent, reported of the Democratic primary between Sen. Joe Lieberman and Ned Lamont

Rep. Bachmann: Dems "on a blitzkrieg path." In a July 20, 2009, speech on the House floor, Rep. Michele Bachmann (R-MN) said:

Fox's Cavuto: Obama administration pushed "blitzkrieg of programs." From the January 26 edition of Fox News' Your World (retrieved from Nexis):

Weekly Standard: "The Democrats' growing debt blitzkrieg." In a May 20 Weekly Standard column, Gary Andres wrote, "The Democrats' growing debt blitzkrieg is also at odds with how American households are responding to the current economic situation."

National Review's Hanson referenced "the Obama hope-and-change blitzkrieg." In a January 20 National Review column, Victor Davis Hanson wrote: "If a liberal senatorial candidate can be defeated in Massachusetts, eleven months after the Obama hope-and-change blitzkrieg, it is hard to believe that any liberal seat is necessarily safe anywhere.

Chuck Norris referred to "Obama's blitzkrieg." Chuck Norris wrote in his
