Interesting that the 2nd and 4th stories were refering to gun smugglers caught in the USA with arms apparently bound for Mexico.
Well Deezus I'm sure you have a huge illegal alien problem up there in Portland - why don't you spend some time in the border states and you can see for yourself.

So either -
A. there were automatic rifles obtained within the United States by the drug cartels. Could be possible with all the money they have to bribe " the regulators" with.
Or
B. maybe the reporter got it wrong, and they were actually semi-automatic weapons.
But how can this be?? Why would the cartels be purchasing inferior weapons, as you have reminded us (many) times??

Who said that ? There were AK 47s confiscated in Texas. This be true. Along with the other "inferior" weapons. You know, those ones you keep insisting the cartels would not be bothered with.
