LOL there you have it!

They don't count the people that fell off UI,claim 1099's,own a small business, are illegal,etc.... that is why the count is more likely to be over 25 million.

For most of the Bush Administration, jobs were available for most people. I made great money during the Bush years until Clinton's (NAFTA/GSE/GLBA/CFMA) hens came home to roost.

Hahahahahaha. I'd do it longer, but you get the idea. Believing our guvm'ts statistics is one of the reasons we're in the freezer we're in. As people extinguish their unemployment benefits, they become uncountable. The number of claims filed or active is not accurate unless we keep track of those whose benefits are exhausted--which we don't. What a goat rope. I wish the worst for people like Orman (I remember her freaked out appearance when the first stimulus/socialist/free money was held up by a small group of republicans and it appeared that easy money wouldn't get passed. But, oligarchy being what it is, she's still on cable and a helluva lot of people who should be in jail aren't.

Is it because they have no way to determine who is still unemployed, but are no longer eligible for unemployment benefits.

9.5% is what they can count. The percentage of people receiving unemployment... What about those that are no longer on the records, yet still unemployed?

If we calculated unemployment like they did during the 1933 Depression, we would be well over 20% nationally, with pockets regionally of over 50% unemployment.

Why can they not tell the truth?

Most people do not know this, but if they did, it would blow thier liberal minds. The actual unemployment rate, as you point out, is closer to 20% if we calculate the way they did in the 1930s.

With the debt and unemployment rate, Obama has effectively doomed the nation. We should never elect Kenyans again and should stick with US citizens.

News flash! We are in a severe recession and are fortunate, due to the Admin action, it is not a full blown depression. I seem to have missed our election of a Kenyan, but then again I am less inclined to be racist.

Unemployment only includes those who are actually looking for work. If you quit looking because you have been unable to find anything, you are no longer counted as unemployed.

Newsflash-

1. The stimulus failed
2. The stimulus has prolonged the recession
3. The stimulus and continued Obama spending has placed on the path to insolvency.
4. Previous "stimulus" in the Great Depression and 1990s Japan failed as well
5. Tax cuts (corporate and personal) work. See Kennedy, Reagan and Bush
6. Obama is raising taxes, which will make the recession even worse than it is now.

Obama's economic "policies" are a perfect storm for creating unemployment and reducing growth. Socialism has failed EVERYWHERE, yet we have an idiot in the White House who is forced to pander to the insane left and ignore common sense.

I am glad to see that you got "racist" in there. What the heck is about liberals and thier obsession with the word "racist"? It no longer has any meaning and has all the impact of calling some one a "poopy head". It has achieved a level of an inane, childish, comical rant.
