Good thing it's on video or you wouldn't believe it. That's right, she says unemployment checks are a job creator. It brings to mind the novel 1984 and the Ministry of Truth.

I presume you do not understand what creates jobs. People spending money to buy products results in Companies needing to expand production which leads to hiring more people to produce. Giving tax breaks to Corporations, does not lead to jobs, it certainly benefits dividends and exec salaries, but jobs? No, demand for products expand the need for jobs.

Unemployment checks pays you extra like that? That you can go on a shopping spree? Thought it made enough to just say help pay rent/housing and maybe elec bill

Heck unemployment check in S Fla will barely pay rent

And I don't think that YOU understand that those collecting unemployment checks are pinching pennies and NOT going shopping at the malls or making home improvements. Instead, they are using their unemployment checks to pay their rent or mortgage payments, and putting food on their tables. And they are also trying to stretch those checks by looking for cheaply priced items... ones that inevitably were made in CHINA not in the US.

BTW unemployment checks are much less than their original paychecks.

I know it's not checks that pay for people's bare necessities.

This statement of yours shows better than any other how much you have bought into the doublespeak of this administration. Less is more, poverty is good, just believe what the government says and all will be well.

You truly need to do some studying as to what is actually occurring, not what you wish it were that is occurring or what the government says.

You know: independent thought
