I can imagine how offensive all of these US flags and fireworks are celebrating the United States must be today to liberals. Here in DC, the fireworks are about to begin. Going to head to my roof to watch them.
LIberals, like communists, are against nationalism. They are instead for Internationalism. They use terms like "world citizen" or "international test". Communists required use of regional names, and not national ones, for communist movements, as nationalism is offensive to them.
Just wondering how many threads we're going to have that, in a desperate attempt to demonize liberals, deliberately (or perhaps ignorantly) misstate what liberals stand for, and then erroneously define communism to show some kind of tenuous, non-existant relationship?

Enjoy the fireworks.
Shooting off over $200 million in Chinese made fireworks is truly a proper celebration of American independence to you. (We only imported $3 million in US flags.....also from China) [thanks to fox2detroit for the figures]
Since your such a expert on communism, one can only believe, that you are what you know.

Liberals like me are more likely than Conservatives to be for tariffs and protectionism, whereas Conservatives are more likely to support a "free," "open," "world economy."
This is all just a scare tactic from Glenn Beck and Michele Bachmann and the far right that has no basis in reality.

Most fireworks are made in China. I didn't buy any because I do my best not to send $$ to China when I have a choice.
I'm not watching firewlrks tonight, though I like large displays because I think they are pretty.
This Independence Day it saddens me to know how far we have fallen from the ideals stated in the Declaration made by our forfathers to King George of England two hundred thrity-four years ago. We are submitting to much of what they protested.
Those who do not learn from history are doomed to repeat it.

I can play this game too, lets discuss the similarities between Conservatives and fascism.
Okay...GO!
