What about us humans? We are overpopulating the earth causing many problems. Do we need to be mass murdered to control it? Seriously, the seals need to be left alone as it is not our business to control their population, especially by murdering them.

Exactly, scientific studies have proven that clubbing is the most humane way to hunt seals
even though public outrage have forced sealers to mostly shoot them in recent years.

I believe those that club seals harvest the seals for food and clothing. What is wrong with that? Now anyone that went out and clubbed seals to death just for the fun of it - then, I would be (somewhat) sympathetic to your post.

I was surprised to learn, this past May, (when I was at two of them) that US wildlife refuges allow hunting in season. It just seems "hunting" and "refuges" don't go together. I understand why they allow it but it just seems to me it shouldn't be done in a refuge.
