Will there be rioting if he is found acquitted?

LOS ANGELES (KGO) -- The jury has reached a verdict in the trial of former BART officer Johannes Mesherle, accused of murdering an unarmed man, Oscar Grant, on a BART platform on New Year's Day 2009. Mehserle has said he meant to pull his Taser, not his handgun, when he shot Grant.

The verdict is expected to be read at approximately 4 p.m. Pacific time.

Depending on how long they've been deliberating they have to give everyone time to be back at the courthouse for the verdict to be read.

Yeah because a trained police officer can't tell if he is holding a tazer or a pistol.

Not the least bit surprised. Wanna fulfill your itch to kill an unarmed man and get away with it? Become a police officer.

I wonder what the verdict would be if the suspect didn't happen to have a police badge...and how long they would be put away in jail for...
