Conservatives have always endorsed George W Bush and his father. Isn't it ironic the people who decry the Islamic world support Presidents who were in bed with Saudis? I've never understood this double standard. Could a conservative explain their thinking? You criticize Obama for secretly being a Muslim and bowing down to the Muslim world yet when Bush and his father did the same to the Saudis, there wasn't the same outrage.

For the record, I can't stand Obama so this is not some closet defense of Obama. I'm an equal opportunity offender and I have to be fair. Trust me, I think it's just as hypocritical of liberals to defend Obama's management of the war when they criticized Bush for the same policies. So yeah, I mean that when I say I'm fair and an equal opportunity offender.

Hopefully we can achieve some better responses than this and that's not asking for a lot

I don't really understand the phrase "tax cut" but a conservative would have eliminated the income tax. the income tax is the lovechild of liberals. you say that conservatives have always embraced GWB, and I'm calling BS on that.

Great post and ignore the world famous right wing "dodge, weave, and blame" tactics. The right and the bush family love that sweet, sweet oil nectar, and will gladly get down on their knees for muslims and terrorists in their eyes to get it.

the only one who loves sweet nectar in your post is michael moore. my point is plain and simple. no dodging. conservatives don't like GWB. nation building and expanding government is not conservative. so the topic of the thread is fundamentally flawed.

So providing tax cuts to the top 1% is a liberal concept?

Exactly, and this is what I want Conservatives to address? Why is there a double standard? Why is Obama maligned for supporting the Islamic community when Bush and his dad was in bed with the Saudis?
