I drive down to Dallas on occasion. Seeing the McMansions that are sprawled for literally fifty miles, I have a difficult time envisioning the Texas Instrument engineer, the Dell IT guy, and the AA pilot leaving their poolsides to shoot it out with the American military. And their kids? LMFAO, those are some valley girl types that have never known a day with AC, what it feels like to mow your own yard, daddy's dollars, and humpty car.

Those who aren't well off enough to live the modern day Beaver Cleaver life aren't going to be interested in hanging' with the loose leafs of the tea party. Those few who are interested are too old, or outnumbered by yuppies with mortgages out the wazoo.

Texas also has a lot of Chicanos. Many whose family was there when Texas was still Mexico. And I just don't see them gathering up their guns for the 2012 tea party. And what about Austin? They might pick some mean blues and point their gui at you, but I doubt they'll be pointing a gun and joining a secession movement.

What about South Carolina? They can't keep track of their Christian governor when he 'hikes the Appalachias' all the way to his mistresses bed in Argentina! If he bawled his eyes out in front of news cameras over an affair what's he going to do in war? That's the pansy pants you'd have leading you over thar in SC.

Civil war? I don't see it. I see a lot of people who know how to thump their chest and scream, 'socialist'!!!

I agree. I don't think that Obama can count on the National Guard, or the military, as many in those ranks privately oppose him. I don't know of a singel active duty soldier or guardsman that does not despise him. I would see most National Guardsmen siding with the citizens of thier states and opposing a federal order. Do you really think that soldiers would turn thier guns on thier parents and relatives? Likewise, I really do not see ANY US military troops acting against thier own citizens at the request of the "president". I would think that Obama, in the absence of his "private army" would be somewhat powerless, as I really do not see anyone obeying such orders or even coming to his aid.

I'm certianly not a big fan of the idea of a civil war, and I'm gettin' up there a bit. I do think there are some armchair soldiers about, but I'll tell ya, posts like this get me hackles up a bit. You have a few (quite a few actually) folks pegged wrong and these rantings smell of arrogance worse than ten day dead skunk smells of fly blown. You use very small sections of this countries population as examples of spoiled weakness, and then speak as if the whole country, (minus you maybe?) are ignorant jellyfish stuck in the McCarthy era? If it came to it, big if as of now, there are a bunch of folks will stand up for themselves, and be under no illusions as to what they may be in for. As to your obvious disdain for Christians, many of them are among these I speak of. It has much less to do with political ideology, and much more to do with real American spirit, which is not near as rare, in it's true form, as some would have us believe. The governor of SC may well be a 'pansy pants', but so is the president of these United States as of this moment. Think about that as you rant on about what and who are the weak links in our proverbial chain.....................

As an Oathkeeper (-for those that don't know, a VERY large and organized membership of US vets that have sworn to defend the USA against its own government if need be) , I can tell you this much...If a president turned the federal government against the citizens of the USA, the military would nearly unanimously side with the citizens. Those members of the government forces that still remain a threat would be dealt with.

Could it be , thats why these last 10 years of war are for a reason ?

They knew that making the turkey shoot overthere any more obvious a couple of us might have stood up and said no more .

But if you just severily maim several hundred thousand of our strongest and bravest and drive the rest insane with one tour after another then who will notice ?

That's a good point. Especially since it wasn't the plantation owners out there on the battlefields in the 1860s, either. (Unless they got themselves commissioned as officers, which did happen occasionally).

The rate of deportation by ICE has gone up 250% since 2003. Don't be duped by the sky is falling crowd. There are those cretins who usually hide under rocks and bunkers who have surfaced to spread hate and fear over the supposed hoardes of invaders from Mexico. They would like nothing better than to have us at each other's throats. Don't fall for it.
Get your facts straight. The 500,000 is the number of illegal aliens caught at the border in FY 2009, not the number entering the US, which is about 3 times that number. In other words, about 1,000,000 illegals successfully invaded our country in FY 2009. That is enough to warrant impeachment for not protecting the states from invasion according to Article 4 Section 4 of the Constitution.

I predict there will be widespread unorganized sporadic violence if illegals are given amnesty and citizenship, especially in the border states. What is more likely than a civil war is a military coup. There was talk in the media about the possibility of a coup against Nixon if he refused to leave office, so this is not outside the realm of possibility.

The next two and a half years will be a very dangerous time for America.
