Rasmussen also has a very unusual way of polling. They only include "likely voters" in their results. It's not a true approval rating unless they include a sampling of all Americans, in my opinion.

Why was the Progressives relying on them before the election. Were they right then, but not now?

Why? Voters are the only ones with impact. Some joker down the street who complains but doesn't vote might as well not exist.

Rasmussen presents these polls as "Obama's approval rating". If they're only going to include likely voters, then that's a misleading way to promote their polls. At the very least, I think it's important to keep in mind that their polling methods differ from most of the other polling organizations. In order to judge data correctly, we need to know how the data is calculated.

I don't think there is anyone who doesn't know Rasmussen polls likely voters, that is why they are so accurate in predicting election results.

I disagree. When people see "Obama's approval rating", most of them don't distinguish between Rasmussen's methods and most of the other polling companies' methods.

It's okay, though. Some people like/lick/worship Rasmussen (all of them are anti-Obama Republicans, of course), and I prefer to take a more comprehensive and discerning view of the major polls.

This is why Liberals are such bad problem solvers. They like to work a problem based on what they want reality to be, not on the actual facts of the matter.

They weren't even close in this last election until the last two weeks when it became
obvious that Obama was going to win, I guess they had to save face somehow.
