I know who he is, as in, I know about his talk show and he gets a lot of attention.
But who is he? Why does his name keep coming up. I see his name all over this forum?
Who is he to why does he deserve as much attention as he does.
I don't watch CNN,FOX nor MSNC.
When I want news, I go to PBS.
So I am not to familiar with the guy.

No, I am not taking a cheap shot. I am simply asking why does he get so much attention?
Glen Beck is to his audience what Charlie Rose is to his. Charlie Rose has just about as much character as Beck to boot. But I am not interested in who Beck's guests are , has a few that are worth the time and are capable of handling his own special form of BS. The rest are a rainbow of snobs. Tavis Smiley is somewhat similar in regards to his audience. They all share a load BS factor . The liberals here loathe Beck therefore the Conservatives promote him. I have found few responses to any PBS programming quotes and links. Honestly at this point the News media sux all way around. I doubt it will get better until the crapper blows. Forums are stagnating across the web.

Here's one fact - his coverage of the communist Van Jones triggered the White House to dump Van out the back door - on a week end.
Now, if you're a communist sympathizer or ignorant of the stated goal of communism, let's be clear why communism is anathema to America.

But American law protects private property
Amendment V, US Constitution 1789
... nor shall private property be taken for public use, without just compensation.
Communism, Socialism, and Marxism abolish private property ownership and replaces it with collective ownership, with the superior rights in the State.
America's republican form of government cannot co-exist with collectivism.
Any self proclaimed communist who claims he has no intention of abolishing your private property rights is either a liar or a fool. Because the whole rationale of the Communist movement is theft by government, and compulsory labor for the benefit of the collective.
If you fault Beck for opposing communists, then you have to ask yourself - why are you pretending to be morally superior?
Communists, Socialists, and Collectivists are thieves and slavers. Always were. Always will be.
And they have to resort to deception, because no one in their right mind would willingly surrender their endowment from their Creator, and embrace "Big Brother".
Every fool wearing a "Che" T-Shirt should realize that they're associating themselves with a mass-murderer, racist, thief and scoundrel... with charisma.
And if you think it's cool to be a communist, remember this tidbit: the biggest mass murderers in the 20th century happened to be communists and socialists - Stalin, Mao, Hitler and Pol Pot. (Yes, Hitler was a socialist - left wing - against private property - taking control for the State.)
Remember to preface "No one should suffer because they lack {fill in the blank}" with "No one should be compelled to labor for the benefit of another, so that..."

The death tax is communism and that alone makes me an enemy of the state . I hate the gub and believe in taking it down with all the Biblically prophetical decor that accompanies such things . That being said I am not a gun owner or anything like that.God will bring judgement on this mess.This System makes me sick it is so rotten and repulsive.
