No, this thread is an intellectual discussion about the specifics of the deficit GWB is responsible for. We can discuss other presidents on other threads.

Apparently if the OP is wrong, doesn't matter... seems like the OP just cares about talking about Bush... does the OP want Bush to come back and fix the deficit problems that Bush created? If not then shut it... he is gone and thank goodness that he is gone... the OP seeks to divert the problems of Obama... the OP must think the public would fall for that kind of distraction... talking about Bush's deficit but doesn't want Bush or Obama to fix it... The OP is just trying to delude others even if the OP is not smart to realize it...

No just having a intelligent discussion of history.

This particular topic is:
Bush's contribution to national debt.

Why so angry? This will be in the history books of our grandchildren, like it or not.

The time to talk debt and deficit was in 2000-2001. We were close to turning the ship around. Instead, we got massive deficits and a massive debt build up. On top of it, the worst of recessions at hand, one that started in Dec 2007, not on Jan 20, 2009.

I do regret voting for Bush for the fact that he was not a conservative...but in hindsight....who were we going to vote for? Gore was much worse than Bush....and again in 2004...not like the dems ran a viable candidate against him.

so your excuse is that we should pay off the poor so they don't take up arms and rob us? Really?

Look....we need to help those in need..but bottom line is that at some point you need to call enough enough---when the president of France is telling us to stop spending money, it's too much.

No, I'm looking at it from a moral point of view. Granted there are some people that are just lazy, but there are many who have fell upon hard times and cannot get back on track due to the economy. Which was caused by ............

Go see a doctor you are suffering from bush derangement syndrome. First symptom is usually the non ability to see past Nov of 2008. Second symptom is a lack of clear understanding of what the Obamasiah has done and is doing to a great nation However the antidote can come to you as early as nov of 2010.

Now, now. According to you there is no such thing as history.

However, if you are so ashamed of the president, who we dare not mention, increasing our deficit by, policies we dare not talk about, too bad for you.

It will still go down in history, like it or not!
