Correct you are!

This debt is the Democrats debt.

When Republicans ran the Congress in the nineties, the controlled spending and robust economy were theirs.

See how that works?

The repeal of Glass-Stiegall and granting China pernanent most favored nation trading status are examples of Clinton changing the rules.

We are talking about specific policies here. Whose idea was Medicare part D?

Whose wanted to invade Iraq while we already were at war in Afghanistan?

Hint:
Quote:
Beginning in late December 2001, President Bush met repeatedly with Army Gen. Tommy R. Franks and his war cabinet to plan the U.S. attack on Iraq even as he and administration spokesmen insisted they were pursuing a diplomatic solution,

Who then cut taxes during these expensive wars and did not figure the expense of the wars into our national budget?

The bottom line is, when you take the office, you make an impact for the long term, not just while you're in the office. Accepting accountability would be a grown up thing to do.
So Obama will be taking the heat of his impact for years to come! Good to know.

Reagan responded by slashing taxes and reducing spending on anything non-defense. In contrast, your boy is using this "crisis" (never let a good one go to waste, I've been told) to push through every democrat pet project he can. He is fundamentally changing our country toward socialism.

It's sad when the prez of France is telling us to stop spending money.

I get it alright! Any deficit mounting policy of Bush is blamed on the "Democrat" congress. Any policies during Clinton with a Repub. congress, are blamed on Clinton.

We are not supposed to blame Bush for anything because "that is the past.' However, right wingers have no problem reverting to the past to blame a democratic congress. Right wing double talk and self serving logic!

Was it a Democrat or Republican congress when Bush:

Went to war in Iraq?

Made Medicare part D a new entitlement?

Cut taxes on the wealthy?
