Are there any statistics where they don't just mention absolute dog attacks per breed (which is not useful), but relative to the percentages those breeds make up of all dogs held?

I never ever teased my Kona!

He would help a thief carry everything out of the house.

Kids would pull, hit and ride on him and he would clean them off with his big tongue and tail wagging.

He lived to play with the kids.

They have a protective instinct, but typically they are people-friendly. Dog differ, of course, but if you're looking for protection, a German Shepherd or a Rottweiler make better guard dogs.

Tease any dog enough, and they will become vicious. Even the littlest, to the biggest of dogs. No matter what breed.
