You can't be serious.

I would ask you to prove your allegations against him, but I know you can't.

They'll make something up. Debasing the meaning of impeachment serves to allow them steeper offenses than mere elections tampering or abuse of authority.

Why do we need help from other countries. This was a US Spil by a US corporation in US waters.

BP is 100% responsible for the oil clean up. Not the President, Not the US.

so this is not even one against Obama

0-1 wit this claim.

What could he have done?

1. Accept help from the Netherlands when they offered it shortly after the accident. The Dutch, experienced in the oil business, offered prompt help for oil skimming booms and plans to create barriers to stop the oil from infiltrating from the wetlands.

2. Suspend the Jones Act, as Pres. Bush did after Katrina, to allow foreign vessels into American waters to assist recovery without having to swap ships and transfer equipment onto American flagged vessels.

3. Suspend the Davis-Bacon prevailing wage laws, as Pres. Bush did after Katrina, to allow rapid deployment of new workers to help with containment efforts.

4. Suspend FEMA contracting and bidding rules, as Pres. Bush did after Katrina, to allow a more rapid assignment of contracts to assist with recovery effort.

5. Allow coastal governors to immediately begin dreding to create barrier islands.

that's whats nice about being American. We do not need aid. They offered, we declined. End of story. BP was responsible, so its BP who needs to fix this.

What could the Netherlands do speed up what BP was already doing? Hmm? Care to enlighten us.

Could they have capped it off in 2 days. Or would it just have taken just as long.

How would their help, help?

Details please.

So, not a criminal act, and not an impeachable act for any reason.

Dont need to and we didn't need help. BP was well underway to fix the PROBLEM they created.

That takes time and of course, the Republicans would not support it. That kind of move requires that Congress agree. Not going to happen with our congress.

By then BP would and have come up with their solution.

Not going to happen in the timespan they needed to work in. And by then the approvals have gotten through, BP had already worked for a solution.

All of your answers depends on time and nothing would have "made" the stop go any faster.

Going by how long the leak/spill has been going on, it looks like we DID need aid! And badly!

So what if some of those things "took time?" Those things I listed should have been done immediately and they weren't.

Not logical for you to try and defend Obama... he blew it!
