California Attorney General Jerry Brown cleared Vera of wrongdoing in a report earlier this year. Brown found that, though Vera appeared sympathetic to the "pimp and prostitute" during the taped meeting, he immediately notified the police of the conversation. Brown's investigation also found that the O'Keefe videos were "significantly edited."

It is funny! O'Keefe and Giles finally established some wrong doing, illegal actually. Problem is, it was their own illegal actions that are now resulting in this, and perhaps, other civil suits. They will be easily able to pay what awards may be levied, I am sure FOX paid them well to fabricate their stories.

Absolutely. I saw the unedited video last night and this employee was so obviously questioning them and playing along to get more info to give to the cops. He should sue FOX.

I'm sure Fox will not report the part about the ACORN employee calling the police and reporting the whole thing to the division that deals in human trafficking and that the reason the guy appeared on the edited tape as "going along" was merely because he was gathering as much information as he could to pass on to the police on what he thought was an upcoming crime. O'Keefe and Giles deserve to be caught up in lawsuits until their hair turns gray over their fabricated stories.

Great! Hope he ends up with lots and lots of the right-wingers' money.

They didn't do anything illegal. Video taping is allowed in a public place and an ACORN office is a public place.

Selective editing and lying by omission is perfectly acceptable - even awarded an Oscar - when it's done in support of left-wing causes. When done in support of right-wing causes, however, it's "illegal," "fabricated" and they "should sue."

Things that make you go, "Hmmm....."

Not true. Videotaping without the consent of both parties in a confidential session is illegal.

Your ignorance is showing...again.

California law prohibits the taping of anyone without their knowledge.
