The world has had a host of Hitlerish prototypes since his demise. You give Hitler too much credit , and yet I wonder if you realize how clever and thoughtful he was other than his bad moves that undid him.

Well it doesn't take any brain power to compare someone you don't like to Hitler. It's the ignorant persons bestest insult EVER!!!

Clever for an Iowan.

It's stupid to compare Obama to Hitler just as it's stupid to compare the Tea Party to the KKK. The sign is immature, out of line, and it's going to backfire.

I am very aware that Hitler was a smart man. He had a great ability for getting others to follow him and I am sure had other good qualities but when your evil abilities/qualities out weight your good ones, you are evil. Period

In all sincerity I sense you don't by into the idea of power spots and history rhyming do you ? Thing is just as Reagan had an astrologer so goes many aspects of things of The World . You cant simply erase the energy form Hitler's speaking from the same place. This wisdom I speak of is fundamental in nature and is well understood by aboriginals , and the magicians of the Babylonian system on which the world is running. It seems many are more concerned with popular culture and the media , and not those who have the magic wands.

It's wrong to compare anyone to Hitler. It's also a slap in the face to every person who was victimized by the worst monster who has ever been a part of recorded history. It's always wrong. And it's always amazing to see what lengths people will go to in order to make their point.

I've been pretty favorable to President Obama on this forum. I'm also not a huge fan of former President George W. Bush. Having said that, I would compare them to EACH OTHER before I would compare them to anyone else.

2. Hated homosexuals. Wrong. The SA and SS was full of homosexuals, just like the Obama administration. Hitler publically derided homosexuals, but his regime was loaded with him. Ernst Rhome (sp) was a flamer.

3. Hates Jews. Obama hates Jews as well. See the current support for the Nation of Islam and the treatment of Israel.

4. Emphasized Christianity as a national religion. Did he? Keep in mind that Hitler sent many Catholic priests to the death camps as well as Jews. He used religion as a tool for state propaganda but never looked to relgion for faith. Like Obama, who faked being a Christian for 20 years for political expediency, Hitler used religion as a propaganda prop.

5. Hated workers unions. Yep. There you have a difference. Also the difference being that as a result, Hitler, prior to WW2, led Germany to economic prosperity, while Obama has destroyed the US economy. Perhaps Obama can take a few lessons from Hitler.

6. Touted his military experience. Wrong. Hitler hated the elite command of the German army and vice versa. He was widely despised by the the generals of the Wehrmacht, thus his need to develop his own personal army, the SS. Interestingly, Obama, like Hitler, fears the military and wants to develop his own civilian army, similar to the SS.

7. Saw the world in black and white. Wrong. That is why Hitler, despite touting the "purity" of the Aryan people, allied himself with Italy and Japan- somewhat the antithesis of "black and white". Further, the USSR was initially an ally of Hitler, and supplied him with natural resources right up to the invasion of Russia. Lastly, Hitler enlisted Muslims to carry out his fight against the Jews. There were two Muslim SS divisions (one from Croatia- they deserved what they got at the hands of the Serbs) and the Arabs were sympathetic to Hitler. Hitler was politically expedient, like Obama, and turns his colors in a second to do whatever will benefit him the most. He is a shameless opportunist, like Hitler.

8. Operated on ultra nationalism. Obama operates on ultra internationalism- same thing. Both seek to dominate the population they presumed to lead by restricting the liberty of the citizens of thier nations at the expense of central authoritarian control.

There you have it- Obama is pretty much the same as Hitler. The funny thing is that both Hitler and Obama were foriegn born relative to the countries they led.
1. Hitler's idea of socialism is trumpeted by neo nazis here in America, and trust me, they wouldn't agree with you that Obama is one. They might see you as having more in common with them than with Obama. National socialism is not what you think it is. But then, you didn't really say Hitler didn't hate communists, because he did. Communists were actually the first to be put in Nazi concentration camps.

2. Wrong. The German anti-homosexuality law was greatly expanded by the Nazis. I don't know where you get the idea but gays were rounded into prisons and concentration camps where they were identified with pink triangles. Now, many Nazis may have been gay but they preferred to stay in the closet (and not unlike many vocal "conservatives" who have been caught).

3. If you see Israel is Jews and Jews is Israel, there is a problem. Many Jews not just disagree with Israeli policies and actions, they are disgusted. There's a reason Jew populace (including ALL friends of mine) are very liberal. Zionists, however, tend to be conservative. Zionists tend to marginalize Jews who oppose their views on a Jewish state and at the cost of Palestinians. There is certainly a lot more than what you have seen. Do Jews who don't agree with Israel hate Jews? Answer that.

4. Wrong. Hitler wanted Christian education in school. He was anti-secularism. Consider this piece of his speech on the subject:
"Secular schools can never be tolerated because such schools have no religious instruction, and a general moral instruction without a religious foundation is built on air; consequently, all character training and religion must be derived from faith ...we need believing people"

I can provide many many more illustrations of him associating with the churches, and promoting Christianity.

5. Well, if you think Obama was in charge while economy was getting destroyed, there is no debating with you on the subject. But going back to Hitler, glad you understand anti-union sentiments that Hitler and the Nazi party in general held.

6. Hitler was a war veteran, a hero. And he used it to his advantage. Nothing in common with Obama.

7. Enemy of your enemy is your friend. It is not a new concept in wars. Do you not get that? Let me expand on that. Even many militant Indians joined Hitler (and the Japanese) because they were fighting the British. Hitler led the war not because he wanted a war, he wanted a world of supremacy for a race that he believed in. All others were sub-human, and that is a fact (the Indians quit helping him when they realized that).

8. Ultra-internationalism is not something Hitler could operate on. Ultra-nationalism was it. I find that as something common between him and those who hate Obama.

I think you'd have to be a deranged fool in order to make this comparison.

Didn't seem to mind then.

Ah and there is the rub and it is BS pure and simple. Mass murder and Genocide is an age old practice and one thing leads to another. The NA genocide preceded Hitler and was no less hurtful and is some ways more successful than Hitler. It's all in perspective . You go ahead and talk to any group of folks who has been ghoulishly victimized. Without a doubt they feel the same be it 33, 333 , 3333 333333 ......... My paternal NA language is more or less a corpse not unike Yiddish.
