Exactly! So many mention Hitler, but they hardly know anything about his policies. All they demonstrate is ignorance of history.
That's what happens when they get their history lessons from conservative sources.
But, then again, Americans in general don't have a reputation for being knowledgeable in history.
Some here are on the verge of panic, fearing that Obama will soon begin genocide of certain groups.

I'm just going to tackle these from the Hitler-point-of-view, to discern if he actually did what you claims. I'm not going to judge if Obama has or hasn't done anything on your list, and I'm not going to compare.

Partially True/Wrong, he did not censor opposing media as much as is commonly thought today, several papers and periodicals that were very critical of Hitler/NSDAP were allowed to publish.

What he DID do was support publication of papers that wrote what he wanted and encourage them to intensify their attacks on his opponents

Wrong, they are not very similar at all. Somebody like you who claims to have a) the mental capacities and b) thorough knowledge of the Weimarer Republik and the rise of the NSDAP should know that.

I think you'd have to be a deranged fool in order to make this comparison.
And look at what it says at the bottom of their sign--"RADICAL LEADERS PREY ON THE FEARFUL & NAIVE". Are the Tea Partiers referring to themselves?

People who do this are looking for the gut reaction, no matter how ultimately wrong it is. My problem with the tea party (besides their timing on protesting excessive spending) is just this kind of nonsense, and the half-hearted "condemnation" afterwards.

I think they could make their point without this kind of crap.

Thanks Zuendel. You certainly impressed how hawkeye2009 did such a very pittfully poor and all out wrong job trying to make Obama look like Hitler. So hawkeye2009, please reform yourself to learn about the truth, rather than suck up to fairy tails.

I don't care what Hitler's domestic policies were. He exterminated 11 million people. Started WWII which killed over 70 million people.

Oh yeah. Bush and Obama are just like him.

How insulting to anyone who has brain that functions to promote this crap.

Its a shame when people compare our presidents to Hitler, and both dems and repubs do it.

Many who want to make the comparison forget that the Nazis burned the Reichstag and blamed it on the leftists.
Also the Nazis promoted patriotism.
Hitler's secret police compiled data on many citizens, even Germans. Unfortunately, for them, they didn't have such technology as American secret agencies have now.
The Nazis were anti-intellectual, burned books they considered to be unGerman and discarded artwork.
Any parallels here?

Wow! I guess you are not familiar with the history of the Third Reich or your current Furher- Obama.

1. Hitler youth and Obama's youth corps indoctrination. Remember all the elementary school "Yes we can!" chants?

2. Wrong. Hitler used environmentalism just like Obama.

Crazy Leo Oshkosh!: Six Things Liberals Have in Common with Adolf Hitler (http://leooshkosh.blogspot.com/2005/11/six-things-liberals-have-in-common.html - broken link)

3. Wrong. Class warfare was a key point in the rise to power and villifying the rich.

https://mikevontz.com/Class_Warfare.html

4. Wrong- see #3 above. villifying the rich was a key point for Hitler as well as Obama. Much of his hatred toward the Jews was fueled by this concept.

5. Wrong again. Wealth redistribution was a cornerstone of National Socialism under Hitler, just as it is under Obama.
