Ryan Rhodes, chairman of the Iowa Tea Party movement, says the billboard was counterproductive:

"It'd be great to have a billboard that's really actually helpful, that's not demonstrating fear but demonstrating freedom and that we have solutions and goals."

"What we need is something that accomplishes our goals because our goals are about helping people understand and educating them about our nation's founding and the path bath to American exceptionalism."

Rhodes says the negative response from Tea Party leaders like himself should show the state and country they "have a better message" than the one depicted on that billboard.

"Our message is rising above that. It's not what we are. I think the fact that it’s down today is a testament that the movement is going to go further," Rhodes says.

I think you'd have to be a deranged fool in order to make this comparison.
Well now you just called me a name and because your poll is not too well constructed. I voted yes, although I don't agree with what was done. I do think that since that kind of crap went on for at least 6 years of Bush's term in office that a little bit of turn about is ok. I keep seeing people of the left bent doing that yet and wonder just what is the difference.

Next time you want to call me and others names make sure that you give some choices that allow some wiggle room for us. As a deranged fool I really do wonder what the double standard of the left actually shows us. How about making a poll about that?

How old are you? I lived through the ages of the people compared with Obama and think that from advanced studies of those people I have a pretty good idea about them. I will admit that I spent too much time studying American History before progressives started changing it to really know what they are saying about Hitler and Stalin but I don't accept what they are writing about much history, either.

I rep you to often so can't here but am sure in agreement with you and wondering how those on the other side remain blinded to what has happened in the not so distant past in this country.

2. Hated homosexuals. Wrong. The SA and SS was full of homosexuals, just like the Obama administration. Hitler publically derided homosexuals, but his regime was loaded with him. Ernst Rhome (sp) was a flamer.

3. Hates Jews. Obama hates Jews as well. See the current support for the Nation of Islam and the treatment of Israel.

4. Emphasized Christianity as a national religion. Did he? Keep in mind that Hitler sent many Catholic priests to the death camps as well as Jews. He used religion as a tool for state propaganda but never looked to relgion for faith. Like Obama, who faked being a Christian for 20 years for political expediency, Hitler used religion as a propaganda prop.

5. Hated workers unions. Yep. There you have a difference. Also the difference being that as a result, Hitler, prior to WW2, led Germany to economic prosperity, while Obama has destroyed the US economy. Perhaps Obama can take a few lessons from Hitler.

6. Touted his military experience. Wrong. Hitler hated the elite command of the German army and vice versa. He was widely despised by the the generals of the Wehrmacht, thus his need to develop his own personal army, the SS. Interestingly, Obama, like Hitler, fears the military and wants to develop his own civilian army, similar to the SS.

7. Saw the world in black and white. Wrong. That is why Hitler, despite touting the "purity" of the Aryan people, allied himself with Italy and Japan- somewhat the antithesis of "black and white". Further, the USSR was initially an ally of Hitler, and supplied him with natural resources right up to the invasion of Russia. Lastly, Hitler enlisted Muslims to carry out his fight against the Jews. There were two Muslim SS divisions (one from Croatia- they deserved what they got at the hands of the Serbs) and the Arabs were sympathetic to Hitler. Hitler was politically expedient, like Obama, and turns his colors in a second to do whatever will benefit him the most. He is a shameless opportunist, like Hitler.

8. Operated on ultra nationalism. Obama operates on ultra internationalism- same thing. Both seek to dominate the population they presumed to lead by restricting the liberty of the citizens of thier nations at the expense of central authoritarian control.

There you have it- Obama is pretty much the same as Hitler. The funny thing is that both Hitler and Obama were foriegn born relative to the countries they led.
I still can't rep you but, damn, what a right on post. I don't expect to read a better one on C-D today or maybe this week.
